Bare Root Paulownia Seedling – 112 Elongata

This bare root Paulownia seedling (variety 112 Elongata) lets you grow a forest faster. Paulownia 112 is a selected hybrid prized as one of the fastest-growing hardwood trees in the world, capable of adding several metres of height in a single season under favourable conditions. Each bare root Paulownia seedling is lifted with a strong, fibrous root system, which keeps shipping light and helps the young tree establish quickly once planted in loose, well-drained soil.

This variety is valued for straight, lightweight yet strong timber, high biomass yield and impressive carbon capture thanks to its large leaves. It adapts to a wide range of soils, tolerates heat and, once rooted, copes well with short dry spells. Plant it for commercial timber plantations, biomass and energy crops, land reclamation, fast privacy screens or generous summer shade.

Plant your bare root Paulownia seedling in spring or autumn, water regularly during the first season and give each tree room to spread. With minimal care, this Paulownia 112 seedling can develop into a productive, high-value tree remarkably quickly.
